The little, small details that make it
That things work is important, but it is not everything. Design, feeling and – not least – service can have a decisive importance in choosing a product, solution or service. The collaboration between the security and alarm installer specialist PM Larm and Areff testifies to how the seemingly small details impact the creation of a long, stable and rewarding customer relationship.
Easier and more secure
For over 20 years, PM Larm has assisted real estate companies to install, maintain and repair various types of technical security systems. Today, RFID-based access control systems account for a significant portion of the company’s turnover.
”The introduction of electronic systems with access cards or key fobs with RFID has meant that handling and administration have become both easier and more secure,” says Pelle Mattsson, CEO and owner of PM Larm: “In the past, a lost or stolen physical key could mean that lots of locks had to be replaced and everyone who would have access to the premises had to get new keys. This was of course extremely expensive. With our current solutions, a lost RFID key fob can be quickly and easily deactivated from the system at a fraction of that cost.”
”Best of all, however, is that I am always met by the attitude that nothing is impossible, everything can be arranged. When we then turn to Areff we know that they will fix it – quickly and without a hassle. What more could you ask for?”

”In the beginning, the key fobs on the market were too big and not so elegant and if they were to be engraved or adapted in any way, the possibilities were very limited. Everything extra became complicated and also took a long time to get done, ”says Pelle. “Still, it was all about simple things like printing a logo or engraving a few more letters or numbers on the key fob.”
Faster and more flexible
”So we began to search for a supplier that was a little swifter and more flexible. In 2012, we came into contact with Areff and since then everything works smoothly. ”The switch to Areff as our sole suppliers also had another advantage, according to Pelle: “Areff had key fobs with a different, more elegant design, which made them very popular with our end customers.”
”Every year we buy about 10 000 tags of various kinds and although we are not one of their biggest customers, the people at Areff are always very accommodating and helpful,” Pelle assures. “Delivery precision and the level of service is the highest possible.”
Best of all, however, is that I am always met by the attitude that nothing is impossible, everything can be arranged. “It happens that customers insist that they need to have something out of the ordinary, which often includes quite a bit of text, on their key fobs. When we then turn to Areff we know that they will fix it – quickly and without a hassle. What more could you ask for?”
